The Agency has released NEET 2020 Answer Key on September 26, 2020. The Advance Answer Keys for all the sets can be downloaded from the button below. However, the Agency has not yet issued the dates to raise objections against the answer key.

How are Ranks decided in NEET Exam2020?

For preparing the NEET rank list, the Agency gives preference to the overall marks obtained in Physics, Chemistry and Biology. In case one or more candidates have the same score in the NEET UG Exam, the marks would be compared through the Tie Breaker policy that has been imposed by National Testing Agency, NTA.

The Agency has four policies that are enforced during a tie-breaking situation.

  • As per the first Tie-Breaker Policy, the candidates who have secured the higher marks in the Biology section of the entrance exam will be ranked higher than the others.
  • In case candidates have secured the same score in this section, then the candidates who have secured a higher score in Chemistry will be ranked higher than others.
  • In case two candidates secure the same score in both biology and chemistry, then the candidates with the least number of incorrect answers in all subjects including Biology, Chemistry, and Physics, will be chosen over the other candidate.
  • If a similar situation occurs where students secure the same numbers for incorrect answers also, those candidates who are older in age will be given the first preference over the younger ones.

A candidate must score at least 670 to 690 marks to feature in the top 100 NEET-UG 2020 rank list.
